Belicheck on the Madden Tour Bus

I can't tell you why, but here is why I agreed with it, and what they did wrong.

Cool, I get it, Bill Belicheck treats life like a video game. Go for it on 4th and 2 on your own 30 with under 2 to go - fine, I get it. But for god's sake if you are conceding the touchdown, let them score the touchdown!!! Then you have 1:30 to go 50 yards and kick a field goal. Don't try to hold them to a field goal when they are at the 5!!! Let them walk in and come back and kick a field goal to win!!! You were tearing up their D all day; you might as well trust your offense if you don't trust your defense!

If you are going to treat it like a video game – go all the way with it!

Joey Gallowaste-of-time

I think the most disappointing thing about this Sunday's Pats game was the realization that when Welker goes down our #2 option can't seem to make a cut...  Just can't do it.

I know he's fast, and he's an outside guy so he doesn't need to go over the middle etc... but that was the most pathetic and lethargic performance from a WR I have ever seen, especially for someone who has been billed as a "Great WR".  I remember those Bucs highlights of him beating DB's by 3 or 4 strides on fly patters to the end zone, but yesterday he was taking turns like a drunken man on a Segway.

I would have rather had him pull a Brandon Marshall, get to the ball and just bat it away or punt it from some ball boy.  Just let me know that you can do it, but are choosing not too.  I know the alternatives are not great, but the Patriots have not been a 60 yard TD team since the first half of the 07 season, and I don't think that anyone is going to allow us to do that again.

It takes a lot to look lazy when your fellow WR admittedly takes off every other play!

Red Sox Wi... Who Cares, It's PATS TIME!!!

It's that wonderful time of the year again.  The Red Sox are making moves and surviving better than most thought, and in the Boston area, no one cares at all!

Has anyone ever wondered how they can commit so much time and energy over a long summer towards this mediocre team and then, when things start getting interesting, just absolutely throw them by the wayside and spend every day waiting for Sunday???  I wonder if it is like this everywhere, or are we just as crazy as everyone says we are?
